Macau!

This weekend I headed to Macau... a necessary trip as I needed to leave Hong Kong and re-enter to activate my work visa. Seven of us - Michael, Michelle, Chris, Kraig, Jennifer, and Jack - headed off on the jetfoil to explore this island which was occupied by Portugal until recently handed back to the Chinese government.

On this island vespas are the transportation of choice, although we walked quite a bit. Chris and Flip headed out to spened the day on the beach, and the remaining five of us ventured along cobblestone streets into the other parts of central Macau. There are great pics below. The best part of the journey, however has no photo documentation... dinner at Fernando's. We went over to a nearby island called Cologne to eat at this notorius restaurant, which lived up to its reputation with the most amazing Portuguese food.
